The Miz

The Miz's Push Stopping

As many of you are probably aware now, Miz has been getting on the wrong side with management as of late, and Triple H himself spoke to the former WWE Champion.

During the main event of this week's Monday Night Raw, R-Truth had a spot in the match where he dove outside the ring on to the Miz, so that he could catch him. Miz accidentally botched the move, and stepped a little too much to the right, and Truth landed flat on his back. Fortunately his injury wasn't too severe.

WWE officials backstage were very upset with the Miz for being so careless, and Triple H went as far as giving him a public lecture in front of the entire locker room. It was said to be quite loud.

That's understandable since it was completely Miz's fault for the botched move, but prior to this, the former reality television star was being pegged for the reason behind the Survivor Series event drawing a significantly lower than expected PPV buyrate.

It's hard to fathom how WWE can come to such a conclusion. The entire event was based around John Cena, and The Rock. It doesn't seem logical why the company would put the blame on Miz.

Chances are that WWE most likely doesn't want to be pointing fingers at The Rock, or even John Cena, so the third man, which happened to be Miz in this case, was used as the scapegoat.

It's obvious that things aren't looking too good for the Ohio native. WWE works much like a corporation, and has a very rigid backstage environment. Unless you are in the good graces of management, or Vince McMahon, you won't get far. Just ask Mr. Kennedy.

The Miz has already been on a losing streak this year, and management is likely to even further punish him now.

It really does hurt to see a potential future main event performer being downgraded like this, but this is nothing new to the WWE. Let's hope the Miz is able to get back on track soon.
