The current word backstage is that WWE is hoping for Rey Mysterio to be ready by WrestleMania 28, so that the company can book him for the event. He has a massive hyspanic fan base. Also, Randy Orton is expected to return to Smackdown much sooner than the company had originally thought. Officials had speculated that he may have had to take up to 6-8 months off, but fortunately, that will not be happening. Smackdown, as well as WrestleMania 28 really needs him.

It’ll obviously be great news for WWE if Rey Mysterio is able to make his return by WrestleMania 28 since he can help with the buyrate for the PPV in Mexico. Randy Orton is expected to have a match quite high on WrestleMania’s card this year, and it would’ve hurt the company if he had to miss it. Let’s hope that the two are able to return on time.
