Kofi Kingston's Push at a Halt

Kofi Kingston's main event push seems to have stopped after his feud with Randy Orton, which was earlier this year.
When Kofi Kinston won the match last year for his survivor series team last year, many fans predicted great things to follow up for Kofi. For a period of time, those thoughts proved to be correct when Kofi was placed in a highly entertaining feud with Randy Orton. However, after their feud finished up, Kofi's push just stopped.
The real reason why WWE has stopped pushing Kofi is because he accidentally botched the finish of a match he had with Orton, and it made Orton look kind of weak. Orton was said to be very upset with Kofi after that match. A little bit of backstage politics by Orton probably would've got Kofi's push stopped. They're brutal.
The other real upsetting part of this news is that Kofi was perfectly built up prior to him getting his main event push. He's one of the few wrestlers that WWE has actually built properly. Almost all of the wrestlers that WWE have forced into the main event scene for the past 2 years, like CM Punk and Swagger haven't been given the proper build as a mid-card wrestler that Kofi has.
The other thing is that if WWE really wanted him in the main event scene, he should've been used in that position by now. After he had wrapped up his feued with Randy, he was perfectly ready for the main event scene.
WWE could've had Kofi win the money in the bank match, but instead they let Swagger win. If Kofi had the briefcase, he could've cashed it in any time after Wrestlemania, and a new main event start would've been created.
It's kind of upsetting that WWE is letting a minor flawed match finish by Kofi, stop him from stepping into the title scene. Mistakes in matches are made all the time, no one can put on an absolutely perfect match.
